Growing up, I was always surrounded by fabric. My grandmother raised me and taught me all the tricks of the trade when it came to sewing. As a child, I was in awe of how scraps of fabric could be come art. I loved even more how custom my wardrobe could be if I made it!

In high school I took apparel construction and pattern making and the rest is history! I opened my first business, making hair bows, and my passion has only grown.

I'm at the point in my life where all of my friends are having babies and no longer wearing hair bows and thus, Modern Refill was born! One friend asking for custom cloth diapers has now turned into a whole new passion.

After realizing how much more waste I produced as a mama between baby wipes, paper towels and everything else I was overwhelmed! I started making reusable options for all the disposable things I was using and wanted to share them with you. Modern Refill has evolved along with me throughout the years and I am so happy to be able to make being sustainable simple (and cute!).
